I was watching this ebay auction with low bids and decided to
bid just to get it up off the ground as it were. Didn't expect to
win, but:

Click here to see on Ebay

This is the original, doesn't have MD capability, but that's OK.

Thinking about ordering a new set of clothes for it from cameraleather.

Well I can understand your GAS Wink as equate "fun per $" and you will have plenty of cheap enjoyment.

I picked one up in a charity shop a few weeks ago, and it's never without film. I love it. And they are still popular, there were 17 bids on that one and every other one that appears seems to attract a lot of bids.

Excal and Lloyd, thanks, with my growing OM lenses collection, it's good to have a second
body. Smile

Arrived today, looks in fairly good nick:

Like the Nikkormat, the shutter speed ring is behind the lens, really like that convenience.

Getting another flash is nice, too. Smile

Not much indeed, congrats! Bring always spare batteries, I read somewhere these cameras eat battery.

Not really; one of the OM2 models did, iirc.
What kills the OM1 battery is leaving the meter switched on by mistake.

Well, that's a bargain, well done Bill!

Attila, Dave, and Orio, thanks! As this is a mechanical shutter, it doesn't even need batteries if
using Sunny 16 or handheld. Smile
