I don't meet them often
I found this one late and as I don't use flash I had to use 800 iso on the 40D

it was up side down
rodagon on bellows, 800 iso - 1/50 @ F4

it look more funny rotated
contax makro planar 100, 800 iso - 1/80 @ F2.8

Great pictures, love the vibrant colors especially!

I'm sure the Alien movies were influenced by the praying mantis!

poilu

magnifique. I am especially knocked out by how well the rodagon compares with the fantastic makro planar

I don't know how you get so close with a bellows

could not go nearer, I was on a terrace
then I mount the Leica 70-180:2.8 to get more reach
but the beast was hungry and didn't wait me

makro planar 100, 100 iso - 1/4s @ F8

Aristarcos wrote that she brings bad luck to the people she looks at. Let's keep fingers crossed that this is not true for poilu.

As for me, one of these beasts entered my studio. A few days after my mother had the heart attack. Ok I am not supertistious.
