I'm becoming a big fan of this lens. I have a Canon FD 85/1.2, but it's useful only with my Canon film cameras, so I'd like to get one of these for my DLSR. I can't decide, though -- should I get one in Nikon F mount, so I can use it with both my Nikon F2 and with my Canon DSLR with an adapter, or should I get it in EOS only mount? Is there a significant advantage to getting one in EOS mount vs. using an adapter? Focus confirmation? Exif data perhaps?
About the above images -- very good sharpness, but the contrast seems a bit soft on some -- almost a haze (see #2, 7, and 8 ). Is this the lens, or . . . ? _________________ Michael

I guess it's me I understand 2 and 8 but i don't think there is haze in 7 but i may be wrong.
About the adapter unfortunately i won't be able to help because if i were you i'd be in the same dilemma. _________________ Helios 44-4
