Well count me in, but i rather buy the film on ebay, cause the prices in shops here are far too expensive Confused

3 rolls of fuji superia 200 : 17€ ( yes you've read correct )
2 rolls of fp4 : 12.50€

so my choice is done, sorry shops and thanx ebay sellers Laughing

Same here, I buy film in bulk , rather than locally.

I've entered that date for doing it.

It's a special day, my dad's birthday and I will be at a media conference this year, Oct 1.
So, I won't be able to buy a roll, I guess, but perhaps I can shoot some film. Wink

Not bad idea, but will consumer users know about this? Smile

Hell, I'll buy one to support the cause if I remember it. And if I still have a film camera with me i'll shoot it too, eh.

“I ask all who enjoy shooting on film to go out on the same day, October 1, and buy a roll (or rolls or sheets for that matter!) of film. I’m sure the sudden spike in film sales would be noticed [...]”

Noticed by whom?

If I buy a roll or ten from my local mom & pop photo emporium, how is that data going to make it to whomever might be interested? These stores buy in bulk, usually monthly. They don't report daily sales to anyone. Don't get me wrong - I think it's a noble idea, just a bit disorganized, that's all...
