The B&W looks great with this type of subject, making the picture ageless. You converted this from colour? One the the best conversions I've seen.

Yes, I converted the image myself from the colour original. Smile Lightroom offers very powerful tools for B&W conversion.
I aimed for a look similar to Platinum prints, but with cooler shadows.
