YES !!!
I have it. It's the 01F.
But I didn't post any picture taken with it.
The 2x enlarger 01F has a system showing the aperture on it.
When you mount it on a 2.8 lens, it shows 5.6 on the 01F.
That's normal, isn't it ?
So, I was quite astonished that the f8 aperture of the SP 500 was maintained...
Here are some pictures of birds taken yesterday with the SP 500 F8 + 2x Extender 01F mounted on the 5D MkII.
Shooting conditions : medium light, so I increased the Isos ; I sat in a chair my arms on a desk in front of the window. So, no tripod but I was quite steady even if handheld.
Oups. I didn't converted them to JPeg so I'll come back...
Pictures are coming
Just 2 samples. I'll make a different topic for the others.
No crop, no special post processing.
1- Without the doubler :
2- With the doubler : 1000mm !

Well, bokeh can be crazy with dounut effects.
But you see it clearly in the rangefinder and so, you can avoid it by changing position.
Here is one a little above what I paid but it seems in very good condition Click here to see on Ebay
This one either :Click here to see on Ebay
Some samples of crazy bokeh. I have to stress that I really had very few.
Today I had none when shooting the birds.
