Here is my most recent lovely Bokeh shot, created by the Zuiko 50mm f/1.4 shot wide open at 1.4 on my 20D in jpeg mode with no PP, i really like the creamy smoothness of the 1.4's OOF.

Oh Yeah!

Actually it is not the bokehmonster, but it's quite "modern"
Flektogon electric 2.4/35

50s.. may be.. Silver Helios 85/1.5 (I think from 1951 batch.. the way it diffuses light, almost unusable in sunlight/full spectrum light.. but superb performer in low light. I bought for this reason only).

Bug:

Even in fall, we are united...

Okay, here is MACRO series. (Sorry this is MFlenses, some of them are AF lenses, but I did not use AF!)

Guess which is what, just kidding.

1 & 2 AF micro Nikkor 60/2.8 (kinda fond of this lens)
3 & 4 AF micro Nikkor 200/4 (too long for me, but ...)
5 & 6 Mikkor-O (it is a very nice lens, love this one. only for close focus, darn)
7 & 8 AF mincro Nikkor 105/2.8 (not too fun, everything looks good)
9 & 10 Ultra-Micro Nikkor 55/2 (this is similar to Nikkor-O, close focus only. SHARP!)
11 & 12 (extra) Macro-Elmarit-R 60 (a very versatile lens)

They all have nice Bokeh! (to be continued for other lenses)

13 & 14 Micro Nikkor Ai55/2.8S (I seldom use, don't know why Very Happy)
15 & 16 Nikkor Ai50/1.2S (used from KEH, slightly wiggly Nice bokeh lens)
17 & 18 AF Nikkor Ai85/1.8 (nice handy lens, bokeh sometime noisy! Don't know the relation with Ai85/1.8 )
19 & 20 EL Nikkor 63/3.5 (newer version, developed for fiche copy ultra resolution camera. the mother of all those Ultra-Micro-Nikkors)
21 & 22 Nikkor Ai35/1.4S (used to be my travel lens, went many places 21 at Spanish steps, 22 at Shanghi museum)
23 & 24 Nikkor-H 50/2 (old but still good lens, many people still love this. all rounder)

That's all for today. to be continued

Shocked All are beautiful, Micro Nikkors are incredible lenses I like them also very much.

25 & 26 Biogon 2.8/25 ZM (hard to make bokeh)
27 & 28 Distagon 2.8/25 ZF (pretty good for close focus)
29 & 30 Distagon 2/35 ZF (I guess one of the best new Zeiss)
31 & 32 Flektogon 2.8/20 (close focus ability is impressive)
33 & 34 Flektogon 2.4/35
35 & 36 Makro-Planar 2/50 ZF (my fav)
37 & 38 Makro-Planar 2/100 ZF
39 & 40 CZ Planar 1.2/55 (older Zeiss!)
41 & 42 Planar 1.4/50 ZF (pretty good lens)

I missed some Planars' here, just have not shot for bokeh. Very Happy (will try)
Today's Bokeh shoot out are to show bokeh, not for beauty of bokeh,
this way people can relate lens' bokeh tendencies, I hope.

#36 Ah superb!

Now Minolta MC/MD Rokkors. (not all of them Very Happy)

43.

44.

45.

46.

47.

48.

49.

50.

43 & 44 Modern MD 50/1.4 (sharpest lens japanese made in 1970s)
45 & 46 MC PF 58/1.4 (just average MC Rokkor)
47 & 48 MC PG 58/1.2 (famous Hawk-eye Rokkor with green coating, current hot item lens Very Happy)
49 & 50 MC PG 50/1.4 (just another 50mm Rokkor, it has 7 elements like PG 58/1.2 my personal fav)

Basically all those Rokkor normal lenses (50-58mm) hasv the same bokeh in rough argument,
so MC PF 58/1.4 is a good choice for converting to EF-mount IMO. Yes PG 58/1.2 is a sharp lens.

By the way, in Rokkor terminology PG = Penta/5 group & G/element number (A=1, B=2,...,G=7).

Thought: MFlenses are fast moving, sometime too fast. Probably this thread will be forgotton too. Very Happy Sad

Thank you Attila, you da'man! Very Happy

Now to Zuiko's.

53.

54.

55.

56.

57.

58.

51 & 52 Just got from Andy (nice lens) 85/2
53 & 54 Hard to make Bokeh with this lens, but fun 21/2
55 & 56 Fast Ziiko (less sharper than Nikon 50/1.2 @f1.2, but I like its colour endering) 50/1.2
57 & 58 Zuiko macro 50mm (forgotton lens, very nice one though)

The other Zuikos I own do not have Bokeh shots. Sad

(to be continued to CANON, LEICA, M42, Others, Prakticars hopefully,
Cosina RF lenses and Contax G-lenses do not have much bokeh shots.)

Koji, that 55/1.2 looks great to me, shot #40 is just the sort of thing I love... I know I'm going to hate to find out what that Zeiss lens costs.

Andy, your dog shots are all great, especially the one you singled out - perfect. Also the oof on the tomato (Zeiss 2/45) shot is pretty wild for an f2. Looks like maybe that lens is a bit of a close focuser? Cool shots.
