to mention: I find the colors these early Auto Takumars render quite special, often the reds:
( that second one I just had shown in the 'portrait contest' too, forgive the double post, that had reminded me to here point to the colors )
cheers,

Very nice images Andreas. I like them all. Great job.
I´m not sure but I believe that the 2/55mm has someting special and performs better than the 1.8 and IMO the 1.4 too.

Once - in my very amateurish way - tested only for sharpness a Super 1.8/55 and S-M-C 1.4/50 Takumar, this 2/55 Auto Takumar, a Nikkor-S Auto f1.4/50, Auto Yashinon DX f1.7/50 and CZJ Pancolar f1.8/50. The little old Auto Takumar was one of the sharpest generally, the sharpest at the corners ( on APS-C )...when all wide open
Anyway, most noticeably it renders colors differently to all of them, including all later Takumars _________________ my photos on flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/kuuan/collections

Great impressions from this fine lens !
Last 2 shots from first series are very strong for my taste - last shot has lots of dynamics from colors and graphical lines ...

YES, thank you very much Tobias, specially glad you mention that last one from the first series!
