@khanX

I don't want to despise the lens, but the bokeh is a bit too distracting and rather turbulent. Has an own touch, but ditracts my attention a bit from the in focus areas.

colourrendering is pretty nice though Smile

Sherk, this is great one. But is it taken by 135/2.8 preset?

I like "Bokina" or Tokina ATX 90mm f/2.5 for its Bokeh rendering and this is why...

Hello, first time poster even tho I have been trolling the forum for a little while Smile
Just wanted to post a couple of shots from my Helios-44M-6 58mm f/2.
Dirt cheap, and it may not be the sharpest, but I really love the bokeh it produces.

Edited due to not being able to make pictures show up :/

Hi Attila,

I was amzed at the price of the genuine Leica Bellows, mine is like new and i paid US$140 Shocked Shocked

KEH have one or two at the moment for US$99 Shocked Shocked Shocked

No need to buy a cheap one, at these prices they are a steal.

Pictures from first time posters do not show (spam prevention). Put them back and someone will make them show.

Thanks for the info, had no idea Smile
I'll try once more then.
Helios-44M-6 58mm f/2 wide open. Maybe not everybodys cup of tea, but It has quickly become my favourite.

As you say - not to everyone's taste. But it's a stunning portrait nevertheless.

I kind-of like bit of, harsh bokeh, one of my favorite is from M42 Fujinon EBC 50mm f/1.4 ( on K20D) ,bit soft but I like it, (that was at f/1.4 and 1/4000sec.)

Second the bokeh is still bit harsh and different lens, PentaxA 70-210 at zoom 180, f/4 and 1/180 sec.

This one taken with a lens as above, zoom 180, f.4 but later in the day, 1/90sec.

the last one was taken with Tamron SP 19AH 70-210, at zoom 200 f/3.5 1/90sec. thrown-in just for fun, if any one would like to check some more of bokeh here they are; http://www.flickr.com/photos/in-my-cocoon/sets/72157621966614917/

Thank you very much Smile I know this kind of bokeh can be quite distracting and harsh, but used in the right way I personally think it can add a lot to a shot.
