This is the best of zoom 7/80-200/210 range.
Designed by Leica, possibly made by Kyoto-Optics in japan.

Some sentences out of my Leica book ....

.... as good as the best Leica prime lenses on every focal length .....
.. 13 lenses at 10 groups with 12 !!! different sorts of glass ....
... at 100 mm as good as the very famous Apo-Macro-Elmarit 2.8/100 ...
.... weight 1870 gr (approx. 1,9 kg) .....

2KG lens!
Certainly not a walkabout lens at that weight. At least not for me Laughing

that's almost 4 1/2 lbs Laughing

My entire kit usually weighs less than that.

Attila, it is our local gypsies

Nester, I tried hard but it is difficult to fault this lens

Rolf, my Chinese adapter could not handle this lens and get out the body, I had to keep it all time with my hand
