The moon earlier this evening, Samsung GX-10 using a Zm-5a 500mm/f8 handheld at 1/20
Quite pleased with the results from this lens Very Happy

nice result
you should try with the sharpen filter
I try tonight with a 200mm zoom and 2x TC

Poolhall, the moon us much brighter than you might think.
You normally shoot it with 1/125 or 1/250 at f8.

Correct Lucis Pictor! worked it out by trial and error, mostly error Very Happy Plus on that night it was very hazy. This image was taken the night after with a clear sky[img]
I used a bit of sharpening and the B+W filter in Bibble. Its better but not as good as Poilu's Sad
Now that is an impressive shot Shocked Shocked
That I can only try to emulate Very Happy

I love the way the cliffs on the craters' edges show up on the terminator line between day and night. It always gives a good perspective of the 3-D aspect of the craters. Can you imagine how HIGH those cliffs must be? Shocked
