Hi All

Just to inform everyone that I still have Martyn's lens and have not done a runner.

Sales of the Lens came to an abrupt stop when my wife tried to take her life.

Martyn's wishes are that the moneys go to Sue Ryder http://www.sueryder.org/What-we-do

Steve, thank you for the update. I'm very sorry to hear of your personal problems, depression / suicide is something that has affected me deeply over the years so I understand your priorities.

How does one buy a lens from the list?

These instructions are intended for those wanted to have this list in Excel.

1. Please copy and paste the list in new text document (name it whatever you want, but remember where you saved).
2. Open Excel
3. Go to DATA
4. Import “from Text”
5. Make sure “Delimited” is marked, if not please mark/click this option
6. Change the Delimiters to “Comma” and mark/click “Treat consecutive delimiters as one”
7. Click on “Next” and then “Finish”

You are done and have this list imported in Excel. You can adjust the column width from there.
Do not forget to save it.

No58 Jupiter 11 (Silver) 135mm F1:4

Just for the record if this is the hand grenade style with the purple lens coating (which I presume it is if it's M42) then I watched one sell for £150 last year (reduced from £300!)
I only got £11 for mine!
Out of curiosity I contacted the seller and apparently the silver one's are quite rare in M42 - he sold it to a collector in the far east.

Got my 1969 Silver M42 Jupiter 11 for $88 USD, including shipping from Germany...

They're not so scarce i see 3 "hand grenade" silver M42 Jupiter 11 on ebay right now...

Some are being sold as that but have M39 to M42 adapters.

Either way they're all still listed for a lot more than the pittance I sold mine for

I have one in m42, focus ring a bit stiff but overall condition good.
I paid mine more than what you sold your for, but not extremely more.

I never knew they could be considered rare.

I really think it's a great idea, and not only would it save alot of fees, it would also save you (saffersteve) alot of time.

Better results would be obtained if they weren't timing out on Mondays or Wednesdays, as that's when the bargain hunters and bottom-feeders look for cheap deals. Weekenders spend more money.
