Many thanks Rino!

My love with Konica started 3 yrs ago when I bought a Konishiroku Hexanon 100mm f2.8 F lens in local camera shop. After this first wonderful experience I definitely mark my self as a Konica fan. Currently I have all common Konica lenses and some rare ones too. I think I will keep these and sell many others.

I understand you, Attila.

My first konica hexanon lens was nearly 20 years ago (an used T3 + 1,7/50) and was fall in love inmediatelly.

Very good luck with your new Konishiroku.

It's very sharp (in others words, great resolution and neutral contrast).

Better resolution than the pancolar and excelent 3D, nice colors to me (something cold for someone). The 1,8/40 is warmer.

It's far better than the hexanon 1,4/50, 1,7/50 (second version) and 1,8/50.

In one word, very near to the summicron M (2/50) but with less contrast.

If I could put it over my fujicas M42, use this and get off the pancolar.

And what about your copy? Is so good too?

Rino

6x4.5

That's a nice format. You get the advantages of medium format and still have some more shots per roll.

Is the camera designed for 120 film or for 127 film?

PostPosted: Sat Jun 13, 2009 11:22 am    Post subject: Reply with quote

Hopefully 120, I could put into 120 film.

How can I detect second version of 1.7/50 ?

It can be usefull (really a little), only like curiosity. The hexar lens -4,5 like yours- is praised there.

First version : focus from 45 cm. Say "EE" in apertures ring. It's larger. The best of both.

The second focus from 55 cm; say "AE" in apertures ring and is shorter.
Very good indeed, but lose a bit of sharpness border (in my copies).

Hope to be usefull.

Rino.

Very nice looking camera. I see it has proper leather bellows, so should be ok for a while yet.
Look forward to seeing the results.
