I spent almost a whole day there, as this is a place teeming with life, whereas the ruins of the former capital of the great Mogul emperor Akhbar are to me just a huge heap of dead stones, garnished with tourists, no matter how impressive they look.
Here are five more pictures taken there.
1) To give an idea about the vastness of this encircled white marble-mausoleum of the Sufi saint Shaik Salim Chishti, here is a picture on the day a very high VIP was supposed to visit. Everything was closed and the carpets were laid out, but the VIP didn't come at all, as all morning it was very foggy. The sun came out in the afternoon.

2) A view from the inside of the mausoleum through the incredibly fine masonry of the windows at the court in front.

4) An impressive man, who obviously was very conscious of his importance, was sitting all day in front of the mausoleum. When I asked him, if I could take a picture of him and his wonderful beard, he elected me as his court-photographer and posed for me. One of his underlings gave me his address, and I will send him the prints. He is Haji Mukeem, a 'haji' being a person, who has made the pilgrimage to Mecca, which poor people can hardly afford.
I think the Elmarit 90mm is a marvellous lense for portraits. @f 4:
