/!\ heavy post /!\ (sorry about that... Embarassed )

Hello all!

It's been a long time that I didn't post in here, but I still look at that great forum in order to enlight my eyes. And of course, my brother Flor27 always sends me some great links about you! Very Happy

Saturday was a special day: I met 17 photographers from a french forum about the Pentax K10D: http://k10dforum.alldiscussion.net. It was in my town: Paris, and the weather was... special: sun & rain & sun & ice...

I am the guy in red in the back (2 people are missing on that pic).

As you can see (or not), lots of Pentax K10D, but everyone had one or two AF huge'n'expensive zoom... Everyone but me: the black sheep of the group (and not only because I was in red).

It was the first time I was going somewhere with my almost complete little museum of MFlenses. Thanks to my brother, I have now a large panel of lenses: from 8mm to 500mm! Cool

Here is what I have now (in italic what I didn't use that particulary day):
Camera: Pentax K10D with Grip.
Lenses: Peleng 1:3.5 8mm - SMC Pentax-M 1:2.8 28mm - SMC Pentax-A 1:1.7 50mm - Mamiya / Sekor 1:1.4 55mm - Helios 44-2 1:2 58mm - Helios 40-2 1:1.5 85mm - Panagor 1:2.8 90mm macro - SMC Pentax-M 1:4 75-150mm - SMC Pentax-M 1:3.5 135mm - Tamron 1:4.5 85-210 macro - Tamron 1:5.6 300mm - Revuenon 1:8 500mm.

It was funny because I don't think I am a great collector (compared to all of freaky you) but with them, I was like an Alien! Razz

They called me: "shop photo"

First some were laughing: "Are you okay grand'pa?"
I was always the last while we were walking because I was always wondering: "Dawn, which lenses I'd like to use now?".

But at the end of that day, some people, after seing my pics or better: after trying my lenses asked me where they could have one or two MFlenses like mine.

Guess what? The Peleng 8mm seems to be like a gorgeous babe: everyone likes it design and wants to pocess one. Laughing

Some pics with a my comments:

The Peleng 8mm is usefull to take funny pictures...

...but I wonder if it wasn't me the funniest!

I wonder why everyone was attracted by me at this moment?

Maybe because I like to live dangerously!

My last present, and what a great present...

...I'm sure you already notice it was the Helios 40-2! Wink

And now some samples of each lens:

Peleng 1:3.5 8mm

SMC Pentax-M 1:2.8 28mm

Mamiya / Sekor 1:1.4 55mm

Helios 44-2 1:2 58mm (not sure...)

Helios 40-2 1:1.5 85mm

Revuenon 1:8 500mm (the only one I did with that lens that day...)

All my pics are here: Trypode - Meeting K10D

And you can guess "where is Trypode" in here (not a galery): The Guy in Red

Regards,

Jean-Nico aka Trypode.

"The only one I did" means: with the 500mm! Confused
All the pics are mine (instead of the ones were you can see me, for sure) and all the pics here are mine too, shot with MFLenses.

I didn't forget you, I'm still around, I'll post some pics shot with the Panagor 1:2.8 90mm macro: it's such a great lens!

Thanks! I often try from above:

We will do another meeting in april, the 26st. Flor27 must be there and we will be more than that (because we will be from 3 different forums, some people from Belgium too!)

And for sure, I'll take all my MFlenses!
