Here's a quick grab-shot from the Tamron SP 70-210 from yesterday morning.

It was a very red dawn, and even though I was yawning and very sleepy, I felt compelled to get out of my sleeping bag and at least get one shot before diving back in to the warmth... Smile

No processing, other than a crop. Colors and tones straight from the camera.

Looking north over the Straits of Juan de Fuca from a 6200 foot camp in the high meadows.

Great shot, Larry!

Perfect exposition, the colours are really nice.

Thanks you guys!

The sunrise was one of the most intense RED colors I've ever seen in the clouds.

Wow, that's breathtaking! I had to look it up on the map.

I probably have beautiful sunrises here on the east coast, but I always seem to miss them (by about 2 hours). Very Happy

Well caught, Larry! 6200 elevation, huh? Do you start to breathe like Darth
Vader at that altitude? Laughing Still low enough where you don't need
acetazolamide (Diamox). Beautiful sunrise!
