Agreed. I would slightly rephrase as "the lens that will let me get closer than I am now to what I want to do". _________________ Orio, Administrator

The one that gets pretty close is the Zuiko Auto Macro 2/90.

Ah, forgot to mention that one (and I actually have it! ). Not APO, though, and not 1:1. ou rangefinder... looks nice cam. Once I want to try one rangefinder. Only for that feeling. For some street shooting or so.
About that conversion. If I can write somthing that... ai'd as you could hear that it is pre-ai converted to Ai lens either with whole aperture ring (possible factory replace) or only with grind away (dunno how it is correct in english =/) short from that ring for aperture reader in body. Sometimes happen that one made not really correct what I saw from pics. _________________ Shoot on analog mainly with

Gotcha, Splee. I will stay away from such things.
I must say my FE2 is very "rangefinder" like in its size and layout.
Rangefinder shooting is all a state of mind anyhow. You can shoot "street" all day with an SLR.
In any case, I shoot the same way no matter what I shoot: I go to the light and see if a photo is there. _________________ Paul
