picked this whole set up for real cheap, almost had a spastic attack when there were no additional bidders on it at $60

this is the sellers picture he uploaded, with no description on the lenses:

someone did ask him what they were and he listed all of these which already makes it a bargain:

Soligor Tele Auto: 1:3.5 F=200mm
Soligor Auto Zoom: 1:4.5 F=75mm - 260mm
Soligor Auto Zoom: 1:6.3 F=400mm
Super-Takumar 1:1.8/55
SMC Pentax-A 1:1.7 50mm
Tokina AT-X 28-85mm 1:3.5 - 4.5

but missed the one in the bottom right hand corner:) a frekn yashinon 60mm 2.8 macro and the picture quality was so bad it was tough to make it out.

really chuffed about it just waiting for delivery!!

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Snap!! the pics I've seen taken with it so far are great, I almost feel bad paying so little for the seller!!

I don't know if my purchase is in the same league as some of yours Wink, but I'm happy as recently I bought SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/1.7 with working Pentax MV for £5. The lens needed only front lens cleaning...from the outside Very Happy It's clean, perfect clear not scratched and in condition like new.

That's a pretty spectacular haul for $60. I like the old M42 Pentax with the meter attachment.

This is a big reason for me to sell off the equipment I don't use, I feel bad keeping it all to myself and never using them!!!! Better in the hands of another aficionado.

Found a nice Minolta SRT100 35mm camera in a padded metal case for $15.00 CAD.
Was going to pass on it until I noticed the PG Rokkor 58 1.2 on the front of the camera!
I may be interested in trading it if there's anyone looking for this particular lens.

I'm interested, what are you looking for in exchange for it?

PostPosted: Tue Feb 25, 2014 12:56 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

My biggest bargain (yet)
is this:

An Om1n, with a 35mm 2.8, one 50 1.4 (>1000000) and the 85mm 2.0 Shocked
I exchanged this kit for some prints for the office of a doctor I know. Her eyes went bad it the last years, so she had problems using it, also the film-buisiness was to much of a hassle.
The only bad thing is the non-working lightmeter, damn you, quicksilverbatts :/

The 50mm Macro was in a very old Billinghambag, I bought on my trip to the united states, at a thriftshop for 50$. I actually didn´t know it was in there, so it was a brilliant surpise, as it is super sharp and fun to use.

Now I only have to find a shift lens for a price like this Twisted Evil
Cheers,
Timo

Nice score, Timo. All you need for a very nice wide to portrait kit is a 28mm or 24mm.

Got a question -- you seem to be implying that a battery caused the camera's light meter to fail. How? Corrosion? Wrong voltage?

PostPosted: Tue Feb 25, 2014 5:45 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

Hey Michael,
Thanks for the comment. I really enjoy using this kit at my beloved 6d. For the wide-ish part I'm using my super multicoated takumar 28mm 3.5, another bargain actually (20€ with a nonworking Praktica IV FB oft a friend, we exchange lenses a lot).

The battery is just empty, and the 1,35volt ones with Mercury are not allowed anymore, right?

What I need now are one ultrawide, and a long tele. And a shift lens. Possibly as bargains Wink

Cheers.
Timo
