That's all right, the problem's been solved.
Read down to e-person's posts.

And these are the results...

It will probably work with other MF cameras too. I roughly reckon you could get 20 landscape exposures like these per 135/36.

how does he mount the 135 film inside the P6? I guess he will attach two "queues" of 120 film to the ends of the 35mm film... correct?

I've just tried it for size - a cassette will fit in there ok and needs to be packed top and bottom as he says. The winder end will grip ok and advance the film like usual. The main concern is to ensure centering on the takeup spool. The entire film face contacts the camera inner body, so might be prone to scratching if there's the slightest bit of grit there.
Only other hassle I can see it masking the VF, but a bit of black card is easily cut.

Orio, you're right - attaching a piece of 120 as leader would solve the takeup centering problem entirely.

What cassette? Do you have a link please? I could not find the description in the thread you mentioned.

Just a normal 35mm cassette - it fits amazingly well.

Dave what are you up to, messing around with the P6 when you have that lovely Mamiya to play with? Wink

The P6 has a certain charm of its own and I'm quite intrigued by this latest discovery. I must try it out.

Good luck with this Dave! I'm curious to see if this is more fun than it
sounds...

You can get some inspiration from Holga fans :

It is a bit of a hit and miss affair, isn't it? That's why I think a mask on the viewfinder would be a good thing.

I'm not any great fan of Holga / Lomo photography - I don't see the point of producing deliberately sh*te pics - I can make enough of them by accident, thanks all the same. Smile

Hmmm...too bad I couldn't do this with my Mamiya RB 67....or, maybe I could.... Shocked

Let the Holga/Lomo aside, it's just some hint so put 135 film into 120 film camera Cool

The big problem with this idea on any MF camera is the film curling. I would imagine it's not too difficult to make a plastic support plate with a 24x36 cut out, or even just two rails, to keep it flat.

Using 135 film in 120 cams was done by Rollei (Rolleikin) and the Super
Ricohflex had an insert for 135 film. I keep looking for one on the bay that
has this insert, just for S's and G's.
