A Lot of Filthy Zeiss

I've finally received a lot I purchased from Florida -

CZJ Biotar 75/1.5
CZJ Triotar 135/4
CZJ Tessar 40/4.5
CZJ Tessar 50/3.5

And -

Meyer Telemegor 400/5.5 Alu (not shown)
Ludwig Meritar 50/2.9

All in Exakta mount.

I paid $200 for the lot, with the understanding that they were not in the best condition.

All are quite filthy, but it doesn't seem like there is any fungus, which is a bit of a surprise seeing as they came from Florida.

The Biotar looks like it just needs a cleaning, but I will probably need to dismantle it to do so. There is a small ding on the filter ring, but thats easy to fix. The Tessar 3.5 and the Ludwig are in similar condition. Any suggestions on lens cleaning would be very welcome.

The very interesting Tessar 40/4.5 is in the worst shape as there is some awful looking encrusted dirt on the front element, I hope I can clean that, and a bad dent on the filter ring.

That, the Telemegor and the Triotar also have stuck helicals, as well as being dirty.

I do have Exaktas, but if I can't figure out some sort of mount for my Pentax I expect I will sell them.

Sample shots with the dirty Biotar on the Pentax (holding the lens on the camera) -

f/1.5

f/4

Any suggestions on lens cleaning would be very welcome.

Send everything to me and within a year or maybe 11 months, I will have them sparkling for you, you dog!

Man what a find!

Congratulations! The Biotar alone is more worth than what you have paid for the lot.

Very Happy so many in line for that Biotar 75 already that I wont even bother to place myself in queue

What a fantastic find and I believe that all the raves speak for themselves looking at your shots with the Biotar 75 ... handholding the lens pressing it to the camera body Laughing
