Here is couple shots from my parents home.
I took these shots about 03:30 at night just before sunrise.. Sunset was after midnight
so it was as dark it gets at night Smile

It was foggy because water was warmer than air... It was not so warm night though.
Both shot with Nikkor 50mm 1.4 stopped down a bit.. maybe close to 5.6. Handheld

Nice work. The portraits are great but the second landscape is exceptional.

Great landscapes for sure but my first place goes to portrait #1 because it's so good! Perfect lighting (directional and soft), perfect DOF (just long enough to cover second eye and still have background blur), only regret about the eyeglasses top which "cuts" pupils - but in the whole still a great one.

Ditto on portrait #1, just right relaxed air, and I like the glasses, if they are on all the time in life they belong there.

The landscapes are magic, you found the right place at the right time.

I have some difficulties to choose the best shot, each one has something that appeals to me and this costant quality is the real sign of a good photographer.

My faves are #1 and the vertical fog shot, all excellent stuff!

Number 2 and the landscapes for me.
