The postman beat my door in yesterday with this....

The WLF was a bit rickety but just needed all the screws tightened and the R-Adapter needs new light-seals - again a simple job.

Lens is the 3.8/127 C and the whole thing seems to weigh about the same as the 5D + grip + EF24-105 so not too bad.

Nice bit of kit, Bob. You can beat burglars about the head with it. Smile

Thats one of the neatest systems made for sheer messing around.

And it does take digital backs !

I had one of these - it was my pride and joy until it fell over on its tripod (a Chicago item that could support a howitzer) and BROKE MY TOE!

Be afraid... be very afraid..... lol

Cheers guys - I've wanted one of these for the last 20+ years. Very Happy

@ Larry: It was actually your wonderful images that reinspired me to bite the bullet - I like 6x6 but some subjects just cry out for a rectangular format, and the bigger the better. Cool

@ Luis: Mamiya has made a rotating adapter for the RB67 series to permit the use of the ZD Digital back but I haven't seen the adapter being offered for sale as yet.

The digiback is expensive, but then so is the much dearer EOS 1Ds MkIII, and there's the mystical 5D MkII and it's yet to be seen price tag too.

Hmmmm.....

@ Attila: Image is now in P*rn Gallery.... Laughing
