"Shutter curtain drag"
How bad is this problem?
I am interested in a lens, that comes with a camera that has this problem. Will the camera part of price, be wasted?

Depends on the cause - if it's just needing cleaned and lubed (stiff old oil gumming it up) you could fix it for next to nothing (assuming access is ok). If it's caused by worn or broken parts, who knows.

I have a Zeiss Contaflex IV that might have that problem, haven't shot
another roll through it to be sure. It's a nice heavy little camera and will
convert to a paperweight with little to zero modifications.... Laughing

Sometimes all a shutter needs to free off is a little exercise if a camera's being sitting for a while.

Assuming everything else is reasonably OK that is.... Confused
