I've bought this german novoflex 400mm lens on a market.

Would like to take some photos with it in combination with my canon eos 400d.
Only I still have problems in finding which mount it is.

Maybe someone on this great forum has the knowledge to know what kind mount it is Smile

There's usually a couple of code letters (or three) stamped on the mount - if what you mean is the silvery mount at the rear. Hard to guess the size in close-up, but if it's large it might even be the medium format version.

Could it be this? http://www.exaktaphile.com/66/66.html

What's the diameter of the mount ?

Look at the bottom

Looks like yours

So the pistol grip actually mounts to a bellows and then to the camera .
cool Very Happy

Thanks for the fast reactions!

The diameters of the 2 mount (silver and black) are 45 millimeters.

Sadly there is no code on one of the mounts.. Confused

Perhaps Pentacon six ?

I would second Pentacon Six, because of the little pin on the upper side of the mount! Looks very similar to what my P6 2x converter looked like on it's back!

std, thanks for the nice novoflex schedule! Shocked

I hope i don't have to buy all that equipment...then I would have no space anymore in my cupboards Wink

Karhallarn, there's indeed a small pin on the side of the mount.

Is this typical for P6? What is the diameter of a p6-mount?

Don't think it is P'six, which is around 6cm+

Hi,

I still haven't found a solution for the mount. Kind of a riddle.

It's not exakta mount or pentacon six mount... very strange...

...maybe an original novoflex-mount?

The option with bellows? Does this work with various mounts?

Would like to take to photo's with this lens and show them on the forum, but now that's impossible. Confused

Can't help with the mount - sorry. I would love to see some pictures though. A cardboard tube and some "gaffa" tape ought to replace the bellows Smile Smile Smile

It looks like Leica R to me,

I have been searching for one of those for a while now.

As we seen on Exakta pictures Novotel always mounted with bellow at least early models what I have too. I did mount mine with M42 extension rings.

I realize this is an old thread, but it looks like Leica-R to me.
