I've bought this german novoflex 400mm lens on a market.
Would like to take some photos with it in combination with my canon eos 400d.
Only I still have problems in finding which mount it is.
Maybe someone on this great forum has the knowledge to know what kind mount it is |

There's usually a couple of code letters (or three) stamped on the mount - if what you mean is the silvery mount at the rear. Hard to guess the size in close-up, but if it's large it might even be the medium format version. _________________ Dave - Moderator

Looks like yours
So the pistol grip actually mounts to a bellows and then to the camera .

Thanks for the fast reactions!
The diameters of the 2 mount (silver and black) are 45 millimeters.
Sadly there is no code on one of the mounts.. |

I would second Pentacon Six, because of the little pin on the upper side of the mount! Looks very similar to what my P6 2x converter looked like on it's back! _________________ www.MoWePhoto.de

std, thanks for the nice novoflex schedule!
I hope i don't have to buy all that equipment...then I would have no space anymore in my cupboards
Karhallarn, there's indeed a small pin on the side of the mount.
Is this typical for P6? What is the diameter of a p6-mount? |

Hi,
I still haven't found a solution for the mount. Kind of a riddle.
It's not exakta mount or pentacon six mount... very strange...
...maybe an original novoflex-mount?
The option with bellows? Does this work with various mounts?
Would like to take to photo's with this lens and show them on the forum, but now that's impossible. |

Can't help with the mount - sorry. I would love to see some pictures though. A cardboard tube and some "gaffa" tape ought to replace the bellows |
