I love these craftmen and their apparently simple tools.

My sister-in-law does ceramics and has a big owen to cook the jars she makes: from the front side seems something hand made, but behind there is a microcontroller measuring the temperature and controlling the gaz flow and the air blowing to get the high temperatures neede to crystalize the ceramic...

Burano as well?.

(I envy your Leica and that nice zeiss. Really a top set, with outstanding results).

Very good photograph! all perfect for my taste
interesting subject;
nice warm white balance;
tiny little bokeh, so the background tools are still recognizable;
good focus on oven and craftsman;
all well exposed, fire/light/shadows;
one can feel the hot air there, look at the guy's shirt;

I know why you didn't post in C&C gallery, because there's nothing to
criticise

@ Jes: that was on the Murano island, not Burano. Don't worry for the confusion, names are almost identical
and locals get confused too, at a ferry station one of the drivers got confused too at a tourist' question
