Thank you for sharing this . I had planned a 3 days trip in Venezia in mid september , but It seems that my body needs some service on fixed shedules ...so , I'll have to pospone this .
Not so much tourists there , ...did you specially avoided the hugest crowds or they really are less than usually ? And unemployed gondolieres?! did they lowered the prices ,at least?
By the way , you're looking far better than the lion Nice photo !
My compliments to your lady !
A gallant gesture from you , that trip to Venice , and especially taking such a small photo bag _________________ Cheers , Teo

Teo, that's the crowd of that day, maybe there was some more packed around the cathedral but more or less that was it,
like I said August is not high season for Venice, it is more crowded in early autumn and in spring.
(it was a Monday however, so the weekend's "hit-and-run" tourists were absent).
You will go there after your therapy, Venice looks great in any time of the year, actually I am a fan of Venice in the winter,
I think that is when it looks best - both because of the winter lights on the lagoon, and because the tourists are dressed and they
don't make Piazza San Marco look like a tacky beach club with their flip-flops and bikinis
Arkku it's a nice handy little bag Not 100% happy with the way the zip closes, but I can live with that.
It looks elegant too, so appropriate for a city trip. _________________ Orio, Administrator

I only close the zip if it's raining, otherwise I have the flap with the zip rolled up out of the way with the velcro strap. |

Gosh, Orio! You have lost some weight!! Wow!
Thank you for those wonderful images.
I write here, because although I really like all your shots, I think that the ones with the people are the best series.
A city lives because of the people and thus I think that street shots also live when people are shown.
I hope you had a great time in Venice! _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!

Thanks! In fact I'm very happy with that one (that's why I put it first in the series )
I think I couldn't have arranged it better if I staged it! _________________ Orio, Administrator

Hard to believe that the 5th shots is just a snapshot. The whole scene looks as though you composed the scene and put everyone in the best location for talking the picture. I love how the lines of the shop windows and the wood in the upper area both lead the the viewer to the end of the picture with just a hint of light at the end. |
