Here's a pano of the peak dist countryside using the NEX5 and Sony 16mm pancake. Stitched with Hugin using 12 frames.
This is an AF lens but I wasn't sure if to post here or in AF corner due to big size. If needed I can move.
Of course compared to Tobias' panoramas this is nothing! Your C&C most welcome.

Thanks! I will apply sharpening and NR in lightroom individually and then try again. |

that's some wide countryside ! Look very peaceful there.
The pano is well stiched! bit of unsharp flaws in there ...
you could take a bit wider lens ~20-24mm and stich with more frames ...
the scene will gain some more then IQ ...
Cheers

Thanks Tobias. It is indeed very peaceful there. the only noise is of wind and sheep!
I will try with a better lens (maybe the vivitar 24/2 @5.6 or tokina 17/3.5) and more frames as you suggest. The sony 16mm unfortunately is not famous for its sharpness. |

You should stop down to a minimum of f/8
better f/11
never mind the diffraction, it's minimal compared to the benefit of added DOF _________________ Orio, Administrator
