thanks, I see you also have this lens so you know about
on this crop from the same pic, you can see that it is not so perfect
halo around objects, aberrations that give a impression of shake, purple fringe on the stylo and mobile phone,...
this was just a test, but it is nice to know that you can use it wide open if needed

Karabud you have really a nice model !
Here are two more examples taken last week. One is the beginning of the ... beer tasting, the last is the end. Two extremes settings, and the lens was a great help at night, producing perfect blur in all cases. jpeg files by the way.

The ZE has 9 aperture blades, which is quite a big advantage over the Contax which has only 6. When you stop the Contax down a little you can quickly get (imo ugly) hexagonal OOF highlights.
Also, ZE has electronic aperture, so you can always focus wide open and never have problems which you get with stop down metering.
If you will have much use for a 50/1.4, I would get the ZE.

Thanx for the info Aham, i am primarly a 50mm user, so i think that by the end of the year i'll get the ZE. Stop down metering isn't an issue so far, besides i have 2 Contaxes bodies so the Planar is still used. _________________ Happy owner and user of :
