Very sharp ,clean images with excellent bokeh I didn't except less from a Zeiss lens, but this is a zoom and seems no matter good as than any prime Shocked Great expressions on many images!

One of the best series I have seen here within the last month. For a zoom lens unbelievable sharpness, clearness, super bokeh and 3D effect. Perfect combo with 5D (noone need more cam !!)

This lens is worth every Penny. Congrats. Thanks for sharing.

Wink

Rolf, Stan and poilu, many thanks for your comments. I just love this lens, it does everything I want it to do, other than be a bit shorter at the short end Laughing

Very interesting shots, erm the male Morris dancers looked old with no young blood coming in.

Great series Graham! All are nice, but the first three ones are the winners for me Laughing really funny Very Happy

I was sure that you were going to love the 100-300. It's the king of daylight. Neatly better than the fixed focal lenghts of Contax (180, 200, 300 mm).
I'm kind of proud of having introduced our group into this lens Smile
The only problem I have with the 100-300 is that since I own it I barely use any other long lenses anymore Sad

That good? This is the first time, I really pay attention to this lens. Looks like another one to look for in the future.

Orio, it was definitely your thread which opened my eyes to this lens Cool It's just a shame that there are so few about!
