What do you think, does it live up to the expectations (I do not have experience with the Olympus and Zeiss 21mm's).

Peter, this looks to be an excellent wide angle - in #1 I see detail in the distant grass as well as the brick up close.

Peter, do you realy need "our" comments to know that it was a good purchase Laughing ......
It's look like simply an excellent wide angle in all point of view (sharpness, distortion, vigneting, etc....), at least on my eyes Wink !

Thank you! It's just that I don't want to suffer from buyer's remorse Laughing

Peter,
You can do wonders with an old coke bottle, but this does seem to be an outstanding lens (not just good). Looks at least as good as my nikkor 20

I don't understand why everyone insists that I can do well with a coke bottle. I'm not an outstanding photographer. I just happen to know how and where to focus and how to make a composition. For what it's worth: more often than not I'm envious about the results from other talended photographers on this forum... I've seen excellent street work, superb panoramas, great nude photography - all of which I'm not experienced in.

So keep up the good work, guys! Laughing
