All shoots taken wide open, focusing done with camera movement.
Lens is brilliant sharp wide open if you can set focus well.

Test gear is Panasonic G1+ C mount adapter.

Rare oportunity indeed most reach collector never make or never publish pictures with their expensive gears. I am glad I can get it and I could publish some pictures.

Yes, brilliant lens at every aperture. Must be a proud French guy, not easy to race against Japan and German super power, but Angenieux did it very well.

Fantastic series!
The pichtures wide open have a dreamlike character to them. Impressive sharpness when stopped down.

As often (and not only french people) a country has a good innovation advantage but let others come to its level and surpass it.
It was the case for photography and cinema (movie) industry in the 19th century.

I am impressed by the double character of this lens, wide open and stopped down.
I would love to see a female portrait wide open and a landscape image stopped down.

Lens has M49 mount , to convert Leica-M is possible, but I am unsure I will ever do or just simple sell it. Perhaps I will make a temporary mount..
