Thanks! We've had so much snow here in Oklahoma that I knew there wouldn't be anything for the snowflakes to land on other than more snow, so I cheated a bit. I asked my roommate to pick me up some cheap flowers while he was at the store, and I tossed them out into the yard for half an hour. I believe that's the first time I've ever asked someone to buy me flowers. Wink

shauttra, don't you shoot snowflakes as well?

Wonderful. Love them all.

One question: Any reason you are reverse mounting Volna-9, a macro lens, instead of any other normal 50mm lens? Does it make any difference this case?

That's how it is here. We only get a few days of snow, but it's mostly just little ice clumps. Other times, it's too warm for any real flakes. I've never seen big, fluffy ones here, but I keep hoping.

I just prefer the glass on the Volna and the Tomioka lenses and still get starry bokeh when reversed. I would have reversed a 28mm, but I couldn't find my step rings. The new house has my belongings scattered.

As i know the best temperature for snowflakes is about -13-15°C
Than we can get beautiful single crystal snowflakes Smile
