Happy new year,
i come back from Egypt. Nice weather and nice colors.

Pictures made with sony nex5 and 25mm Contax/Zeiss distagon, 60mm macro elmarit and 180mm apotelyt.

Very nice and beautiful images. The Sony seems to be a very good cam for MF lenses. I like them all - but my absolute fave is the portrait shot with the 180 mm Apo.

Nice images Roby and I am happy to read that you came back with no problem, this does not seem exactly the best time to visit Egypt.

My favourites are the Distagon pictures - I think that they have a presence and a strenght that the pictures taken with the other lenses lack a bit (although all are good).

+1, high iso looks also much better than the pana G1 !

yeah .... i was there in the capital (Cairo) when happened the attack in Alexandria.

Come back from Egypt with good images is really easy ... the light (without humidity) is stunning.

I agree 100%: noise is under control better than with Pana G1. If the rumors are true, the next Sony sensors should be really good at high iso.

Tnx Tobias for your nice words. Even if sunset is the "usual" photo taken 1.000.000 times in our life...... i think that this one has a different taste.....
