Memories from autumn.
These leaves seem like gold coins to my eyes.
One of my favorites from the 5000 photos I took during my vacation.

Zeiss 2/35 ZE @ f/5.6

Great colours!
And yes, this lens also is like gold, isn't it?
You could live without it, but it's much more fun with it, right? Wink

I have a lot of super-sharp lenses, and this is one of the sharper.
It makes the Vario-Sonnar 35-70 look soft. Trust me, this is not easy.
If you can live with the strong vignetting at f/2 and the more-than-usual CA in some cases, it is a super lens.

Initially I focused on these weaknesses during my in-house artificial tests.
As soon as I shot in the real world, I fell in love with it.

Very nice colours Νικο!!!

The Distagon 2/35 is my new fav wide .... super sharp even @f2.

Don't ask how but I had the opportunity to try 2 brand new 2/35 before I got mine. And let me tell you that the one I have now has LESS CA(purple fringing at high contrast edges) wide open than the first one ?!?!

That's not a good sign for current Zeiss quality control ...isn't it Confused
