For a weekly challenge at Pentaxforums.com this week, we had to make
a photo around the theme Ton-sur-Ton'. For this challenge, I have
been shooting some old Mandolin we have. Usually it sits only at the shelf
as decoration, but today I decided to make it the subject of my
photography. Here are some of the results, I'd like to know what you
think!

The last one in the first batch is my favourite, for the composition and the more directional and contrasted lighting.
Also the first in second batch looks good.
I find the first ones too much of a "bokeh play" where we see little of the mandolin. Also the lighting in the previous ones is a bit flat in my opinion. _________________ Orio, Administrator

Orio, thank you! In that particular one, I find the reflection of the window a bit distracting.... _________________ Rense

I love the last one in the first set. I think the one you've entered as too "bokehish". |
