Had a great autumn/winter walk today at a really great place. Beautiful silent place near Rauris.

Hüttwinkltal, Nationalpark Hohe Tauern
Bucheben

In middle age, people could enter in churches and seek for asylum.

Where I went to Uni, the right of sanctuary for the students still persists to this day. For most people the only place for sanctuary is still a foreign embassy.

Absolutely magnificent place which you have taken us to. Thanks Tobias

Right of sanctuary.
That was what I meant but didn't have the right words.
Thanks Patrick.

Olivier. Vous ecrivez l'anglais beaucoup mieux que je puis parler francais...

asylum and sanctuary are basically the same, except sanctuary is specifically related to a "holy place".
