Astonishing door in Prague

Diagonally opposite the Hause of the Black Madonna,a great example of Prague cubist architecture, which houses the Grand Café Orient (of which you'll see more here) and three floors of an exhibition of Prague cubist arts, there is an astonishing door, which you can only see in the late afternoon, when the municipal garbage collectors have stopped coming with their cars and the doors are closed. At first I didn't realize it, but coming nearer I saw that there were lots of bronze heads on the door in various patterns. Stupid me, I forgot to ask for the name of the sculptor, but maybe some kind soul from Prague, who reads this can help out.

The last three are with the Nikkor Noct 58mm (the exif-data say 50mm/1.2, but that was my fault, as I set it wrong).

It somehow reminds me of Terminator's factories.
A stunning architectural work for sure, but it leaves me wondering why contemporary art must always (or at least often) feel so haunting/anguishing.
