nice shots franco! i really like what you do w that biometar. luckily, i just purchased a P6 that came with this lens. i am yet to receive, but cant wait to see what results i can get--hope to approach what you do!

thanks franco, i will! btw, do you also have the volna 3 80mm P6? i am curious how you think they compare as i purchased both....

I do not have the Volna. I read that many people think that is a copy of Biometar. But the optical formula is different.
I think the difference is in the colors.

In this study of NO-X are the two formulas.
List of lens diagrams: triplets, planars & hybrid lenses.

+1 I think Volna has better warmer color.

the green coating much saturated color, sometimes too much.

yes i will post a comparison, with 5d, as soon as all items arrive. much harder for me to compare on P6 as i never used medium format before, and havent shot any film in about 10 years, so i have a lot to get used to and learn/re-learn.

The colour is so rich and true to life with those lenses! Nice shots.
