I haven't shot the Vivitar Ultra Wide and Slim in ages it seems. I ruined
a bunch of shots having my danged finger near the lens (best to have
nothing resting on the front plate of the camera).

Fomapan 400, HC-110B, 7 minutes @20C:

How unusual to see an overpass underside that isn't littered with scrap cars, graffiti, and junk.

Dave, dunno how it is over your way, but here if we have folks that
"qualify" for the county jail get to ride around in 6-pack trucks wearing
orange pajamas and reflective tape to pick up trash...making 'Bama
beautiful. Wink

Ah yes, I used to wonder why they all had the nickname of 'DOC' on their backs. Smile

Recht schonen Dank! As Attila would say. lol Funny can't seem to type
in the diacritical over the "o" using either ALT + 148 or ALT +0246.

Funny.. nearest translation of schonen from Nederlands is weed, but in German preserve!

Not sure what Attila would say lol

As for diacriticals.. the trouble THEY have caused in Biblical translation!!!!

Doug (I sometimes forget which my 'native' language is!)

This is a great little camera!

I find the middle contrast a bit on the sleepy side, but I don't know if it's because of the scanning - judging B&W from scanned files is impossible.
If you notice that too, on your negatives, it could perhaps be interesting, next time you use this same camera and film couple, to try to perform a little more vigorous agitation (while keeping the same dev time).

Doug, "many thanks" lol

Orio, I'm not too crazy about Fomapan 400, will be going with Legacy
Pro and Arista Premium 400 (me-too Neopan 400 and Kodak TriX 400,
respectively) in 35mm BW. I was also wondering how my homebrew
Thornton's 2-Bath would have done with this. Thanks!

Yeah, Foma 400 isn't the most wonderful - though shooting Foma 100 at 400 was surprisingly good. Surprisingly, because I did it by mistake Laughing

What I like about the Fuji is the film isn't as curly as Kodak. I don't think Ilford is as curly either.

hi Bill, your second image inspired me to try a crazy crop, I hope you don't mind!

Orio, I like it! Smile It covers up the distortion of the lens to a degree, as well.

Jussi, the least curly 120 film I've tried is Acros 100, marvelous film.
