Hi all!
For my first post on the MF forum, I'm happy to let you see some shoots made with my "new" lens, a Nikkor Ais f2 200mm just received few days ago (nice Xmas present, I know it )...
This pictures where made without tripod and for most of them under the snow and with very cold weather (-5 deg). So quite difficult situation for my first shoots with this big lens ......
First, one picture of the lens (to compare with an Helios 2/58mm who really look like a small toys next to it!!!!!):
And some shoots of my daughter (photo 4&5) and some friends of her who had a lot of fun with the snow....:
1/
2/
3/
4/
5/
This lens is very heavy but it's a wonderful "toy" to shoot with and I'm really happy with the results ...
Thanks for looking and sorry for my so bad English ..
Merry Christmas to all of you!
pascal

Great lens! I always liked it. It seems it's easy to focus with it. Congratulations !
I have a 180 2.0 that is easy to focus, I guess the 200 is too. Concerning hand held shots, the 180 has a perfect balance, despite the 880gr it is comfortable.
Pascal, Great shots. I never had the opportunity to shot neither to see snow. It is realy good feel the atmosphere in your shots. _________________ Camera: Nikon D80 Canon 20D Pentax Spotmatic

@FernandoB12: Yes, snow is very nice (for sure for the kids), especially for Xmas....but to be honest, I'm also very happy when it's gone and when it's becomes warmer .....I would also like one day to spend Xmas with warm whether and especially in your wonderful country ....
And about your lens, I supposed that you have a Nikkor Ai 2,8/180mm and not 2/180mm (2/180 mm does not exit!) ??? The nikkor 2/200mm is more than 2,5Kg so more than 3 times heavier than your 2.8/180 ... |
