This was a very short moment of sun breaking through.
Nice was that not only the old city center got some sunlight
but also the mountain in the background, the "Gaisberg".

Shooting was done in some seconds, waiting for the sunlight
was about 1 hour or more Cool

For those who know Salzburg, the shot was done from
Mönchsberg, where the Museum of Modern Art is situated.

My recent panos are done in a (nearly) 6X17 ratio
(nearly 1:3, similar as the results of 617 Panorama
film-cameras (Linhof/Fiji) ). For my taste a very pleasing
format for panoramas.

Cheers
Tobias

Another impressive panorama. I dunno what makes this one special but somehow I like this one more than others... Maybe it is the colors..

Wow. SPEC-TA-CU-LAR !

And I agree with Thalos, about the colours.

I'd have one little request, would it be possible to see it without frame, or with a frame that does not "eat" the image? Because I think the sky is a little tight above the mountain. In my opinion if you show all the pixels of the image that part will improve.

Tobias, you should consider selling your work to the Austrian tourist board if you haven't already.

As an advert for visiting Austria, your images are magnificent. Cool

The complete old city center is under protection, one can't change a brick of the buildings. So it will look the seme in 100years too Wink
