I was surprised by this very early Zinnia showing along the street. It is an
anomaly, although the whole plant is showing buds. Anyway, it is a nice
splash of color.

The Pentax-A 55 f:2.8 is among my favorite of all lenses. It is consistently
sharp, and with the Provia, it is VERY true to the actual colors.

I think it could be improved with some Unsharp Mask and possibly a
bit of Levels adjusting, but I preferred to show it here as it was
rendered straight out of the camera.

Bokeh is really stunning from a wide angle lens. Nice indeed!

Yes, Attila, the bokeh was quite a nice surprise on this one. I possibly would
have done better overall to stop down to f:3.5 in order to have all the petals
sharp. But hey...it's all a learning game!

The image itself is nothing to crow about, but I love the TRUE colors that
Provia puts out. I can't say enough about the quality of Provia film.

The bokeh bud makes the photo for me, balances out the big zinnia

Agree with the above!! Great Provia colors and surprisingly good bokeh coming from a wideangle. The f2.8 pays off, I see Very Happy

Very simple, but full of splendid details.

The OOF area is amazing and the colors are looking really true.

Cheers
