A wedding in 5 photographs .... (there were too many annoying Canon-photographers around Wink )

1 the drive to the ceremony

2 wainting for The Rings

3 Ahhhh, The Rings ...

4 the party

5 the after-party

Cheers

Really nice pictures, good job!
I will photograph my third wedding on new years, but my first with only manual lenses (on my canon Laughing ) so I think this gave me some inspiration for that, thank you!

I really like the very different wedding shots. It's good to be a 'second' photographer so that you can concentrate on things the real photographer(s) usually miss.

As for which #1: I think the first version is nice, but also emphasizes the fact that it's a Rolls. In the second version this is still clear, but less obtrusive.

Yes Peter. There were 2 "professional" photographers around which only took the usual-boring scenes/motives. I only took the Takumar with me and concentrated on some details ...

@Hexi
Thanks for your comment

Tobias,

Did you crop your photos? Or this was the actually photo you took? Very interesting and nice perspective. I like them very much.

@my_photography
Those photographs are not crops. Just minimal cropping done on e.g. the last Rolly Royce shot and the dancing shot (some millimeters).

Remarkable! It is wonderful to see you do such a great job with just one lens...and of course. a manual focusing lens at that! Shocked

Don't say that loud. My guess is Tobbias kept some of his best in order not to embarass the official photographers.

Great job, very creative captures. Much more interesting than ordinary wedding stuff.
I like the first Rolls best. It sends a clearer message in my mind.
