Some recent shots with K135/2.5. The most favourite bokeh from all my lenses ... very creamy...

Is this cheap or expensive version ? Very nice samples!

SMC ist expensive version

Other one is labeled Takumar, without SMC: http://www.bdimitrov.de/kmp/lenses/primes/_non-SMC/tak_135f2.5.html

Thank you all !

@Attila
Yes, it's the PK version of this lens, with SMC coating.
Expensive or not, that's up to you. I bought mine for 140Euro 2 years ago. As far as I know the Takumar version is sold for similar prices at the moment.

@Rolf
It was mounted on my K10D, that's the only camera I own Wink

Cheers
Tobias

140 EUR not expensive for sure, I saw Takumar many times for 20 EUR. This is the reason why I did ask which one.

Hi,

This lens is on my wish list since three years now, and i have managed to miss a sell of two of these coming from an old shopping stock at 170 euros/each Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Pics #1 and #3 are absolutely stunning ...

Congrats for your lens ...

Are you talking about the 6 elements / 6 groups one ? In such a case, would you care to delay your sale for a month or two ? I've just burned my savings to get a Kiron 105 Macro ...

Cheers

Beautiful shots Tobias,

Have i mentioned that i hate Peter..........

I must not listen to the voices in my head and NOT read marketplace.

I have had LBA under control for the last 2 weeks, looks like i might fall off the wagon if Peter advertises one of these.

I love my Pentacon 135/2.8MC, but this looks like a very nice lens, but then again i have had no luck getting decent images with Tak's on my camera....

If you hate me then this means that I have done my job Wink

By the way, I'm NOT selling the S-M-C Takumar version (M42 mount) with 6 elements in 6 groups, but the SMC Pentax variant (the K-moiunt one with the same optical scheme). Why I would sell it? Because there's no point in owning both the K-moiunt and M42 version, and at this moment I prefer the M42 version.

I think it's more commonly known as GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) :-)

First time I heard about that term, it was at dpreview.com Pentax-Forums. If I recall it correctly, someone from there even got something like a price for it Smile

"LBA" was indeed first coined by Lance B from the Pentax forum at Dpreview. It became so widely used that even Pentax used the acronym in its publications.
