So I am trying to learn all this "landscape" photography. Which in my humble opinion is hard and boring. But nevertheless I have decided I have to learn how to do it. What do you think?
The full moon at midnight. Super Takumar 55/1.8, 15 sec
After the storm, Super Takumar 85/1.9
Imagine my surprise when the last of them got Explored on flickr. Bigger version of the last is here -> http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2552/3777664065_5fef99cf45_o.jpg _________________ My homepage, all manual shots

I sometimes try to do landscape photography, and I would be very pleased with myself if I had captured the second one in your series.
From a composition point of view it's text book I guess and the colors are very pleasing.
I'm not at all surprised it scored on Flickr. It works well even in the small format, which seems to be necessary for success there.
The first image comes out very dark on my screen. Difficult to really form an opinion. _________________ DSLR: Nikon D200, Pentax *istDL, Nikon D100 IR converted

You always need a good subject, good lighting, good composition.
Those are requirements for every type of photo I think. _________________ Orio, Administrator

Yah. I decided while trying this out, not to clone or do any hard ps work on the pictures. So I left the flare. _________________ My homepage, all manual shots |

The first would IMO benefit from a closer crop. The second I am not surprised it made Explore, it is a very nice framing with interesting color treatment as well! _________________ Vilhelm
