Thats great actually. Guys do consider P6->EOS or P6->m42 adaptor as well.
It is selling a bit high on price.

Now if someone can find the solution for Exacta->EOS short difference. It will open up a whole new market... Smile

It would be cool to use Bronica lenses also. This one might be tricky because if I remember right it has to link up to the camera for apeture to work right..... Question

HK300,

When you sell those, please attach a rear cap (EF mount) too.

I will.
I found out of own experience, that rear caps are a MUST.

Also, i may need your rich experience to come up with even better adapters.

Just an idea: do you plan any variations of the M42 adapter? Like the cut-down one for Mamiya SX lenses described by the_suede in this thread? I'm still filing down one of mine ...

I can do variations of the M42 adaptor, but i need to know how many people are interested. If someone can provide me with a sample (which will be returned), it will be even easier for me to make these variations.

In such a case, just another idea: what about an M42 adapter with a flange on the inner side, to push the pin on the "auto"-only lenses, thus avoiding the "electric cable" mods required to use lenses such as the Helios 44-M5, or the Flektogon 20/4 ?

Best regards

I'd be interested in your Nikon -> EOS adapter(s).

Best,

I had the impression from the image posted by hk300 that his adapter already has the flange. However, I think I have also read that the flanged adapters might cause problems with very wide rear elements - basically f/1.2 lenses, that is. Can anybody confirm?

Sorry, the picture is for an M42 to Canon adapter, and i forgot to mention in my previous post "M42 to Pentax K" adapter ...
There should be no such a problem, since the diaphragm control pin was operated by the camera body, so it should have been positioned almost at the same place, whatever the lens ... I have read somewhere that these adapters seem to be available, so will try hunting for a picture/link ...

Best regards

Alex...

Do you have the ability to custom create a mount? I have a lens off a LF camera, custom mount... yet to be detached... that I would like to mount on my Nikon.

I'd only need a few mm because the register distance on this lens is 100mm, but only focuses to 16.4' with 100mm! So I figured if I shortened the REG, I could focus further... does this make any sense? Think this would work?

you can see more PICs here: http://moorefoto.smugmug.com/gallery/6455104_hCbJ2

If you think it's possible, I'll get you more specs. BTW, I believe it's 4 screws/bolts that hold the lens to the body now.

Can you show me the rear of this lens?
I think depending on the rear mount of it would be possible to make an adapter.

What about an m42-pentax k that pushes in the auto diaphragm pin? They are available, but rare and expensive, I would think a few people here other than me would be interested.
