Well I have the next one up which is similar....FT-1. As this was one of Konicas top camera I find nothing impressive about it compared to Canon, Minolta etc, but it just does the job with accurate exposures.
I went out to test it in colour with a 40mm lens and I liked this picture so much, I went back with a range of lenses to see if I can get a better shot.........next I would like to use a Medium format camera for the same scene, there is a good picture here to be taken, in this area, all I have to do is find it.
Ft-1, 40mm, superia 200 asa

The 2nd shot is a strange, rare, monument, to people in the area who fought in the Boer war and in the shadow to the left is a monument to a general's horse....huh apparently the general was killed and the horse survived. _________________ Canon A1, AV1, T70 & T90, EOS 300 and EOS300v, Chinon CE and CP-7M. Anybody interested in getting a Konica camera......with the cheap common TC you can just use a 1.5v battery and it doesn't damaged the camera, all I have done is changed the asa e.g. from 100asa to 75 asa on my one. _________________ Canon A1, AV1, T70 & T90, EOS 300 and EOS300v, Chinon CE and CP-7M. The least we can do is post many great shots made on film...
But back on topic: I remember that Konica also made a SLR with a mechanism that allowed to switch the camera from 24 x 36 to half-frame and back, even mid-roll. Which model is that? _________________ Peter - Moderator
