Hi there..

I was walking in Winchester (it's a really nice) this TUE and discovered some nice place with two horses --

One of them is propably starving a lot but who knows why ..

I had only two lenses in my bag - Jupiter 4/135, and Contax Distagon 1.4/35.

Some crops and adjustments done in LightRoom..

CLICK on THIS PICTURE:

I am missing the nature more and more in these days Smile

Yep, Winchester is lovely as a city, very quaint.

I'm very lucky living near the New Forest...there's plenty of wildlife alright! Your pictures are fantastic, I'm presuming you used the 5D? I must save up Smile

Which Jupiter did you use? I have a Jupiter 11 135/4 which is a stunner, really sharp.

Hi Shrek --
many thanks..

Well, my Jupiter is 11-A -- really cheap (10 GBP? something like that) and fantastic performer

5D MkII is a pretty good camera ...

cheers

Another gorgeous set, TF! Shocked I like the fourth shot top row, the
yellow flowers by the river (brook?) great comps! Also like the church
steeple framed in the leaves in the last shot. The 1.4/35 Distagon and
5D MKII is a wonderful combo! The colors and bokeh are superb in
these. Forgot one, the tangled vine shot, the first one, excellent!

Take out your Hassy, close up scene is beautiful , but others look better on film I guess.

thanks Katastrofo -- shots 4,5,6 run very quickly !! I had only a few mins to get these -- fortunately that horse was a real professional model and wasn't moving during my shooting --

the LiveView helped a lot because the f/2 is extremely difficult for focusing on Distagon 1.4/35..

Distagon 1.4/35 is a real gem -- there needs to be some training undergone but once has been done -- it's a joy to use it..

hi Attila -- Hassy doesn't exist anymore Sad - It had to go --

I keep only one back and Distagon 4/50 -- I need to wait and buy some 500 C/CM body or Koni Omega Smile which is propably better option than hassy..

Trifox, perfect [ except the framing of #10] Very Happy

thank you ALL, guys --

@ magnet - framing number 10 - something is missing in the frame - I was very close (with 1.4/35) approx. 1m or so,
I had concentrated on the head of the horse rather than any others parts Smile
