it's eastman kodak beau brownie, made between 1930 and 1933

i found manual for it (or rather a similar version) that taught me the functions of the camera, but one thing is puzzling me...loading the film.
what puzzles me is that winding of the film is done on the spool where you put the film cartridge and not on the spool that film is rolled up like in slr cameras. am i right to assume that when you wind the film for the next frame film is pushed (rather than pulled like in slr) onto the wind up roll?

another thing is: outer lens from the inside has fungus, does anyone know how can i get to the inside of the lens to clean it?

Lovely Art Deco!
When you put a new spool of film in, in use it gets pulled on to the other empty spool and that's the one you remove. Then you swap the now empty supply spool over to the receiving end for the next load of film. It's always pulled.

Besides the fungus issue, it seems to be in very good shape!

Congrats!

i was fooled by the position of the take up spool when i got the camera, thought it was fixed, today i tried to take it out and i put it in the right place
